Le Petit Brevet Rules
LPB rules are simple and are respected by all who join. Their purpose is to keep people safe, create atmosphere and maintain the challenge that was laid in the beginning.
1. Do it all yourself, under your own steam
2. Riders must carry all their own gear (no stashing of supplies in their bach or a random bush on-route)
3. Cafes, restaurants, hotels etc are OK. Basically anything that is available to anyone is fair game
4. No outside support (eg. Support from friends along the way)
5. Follow 100% of the course
6. Riders ride at their own risk and are responsible for their own safety, warmth, navigation, dryness, lighting systems, mechanicals etc. No gear list will be given
7. Drafting is ok
8. When on public roads, follow the Road Code.
9. Check/Txt ins will be spread along the route
No entry fee, no prizes.
